Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has confirmed that midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will not be making a move to any of the clubs in Saudi Arabia this summer.

“No, Kevin is not leaving,” Guardiola’s words were quoted by journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier reports suggested that the 33-year-old Belgian had agreed to a transfer to Saudi club Al-Ittihad.

It’s worth noting that De Bruyne has been part of the City squad since 2015. During his time at the club, he has made 382 appearances in all competitions, scoring 102 goals and providing 170 assists.

The player’s current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2025. According to Transfermarkt, the market value of the player is estimated at €50 million.
